Located in the state of Madhya Pradesh near the holy town of Jotirlinga Omkareshwar, a center of Param Shakti Peeth was established back in 2010 and is operational in full swing for benefitting the tribal people in and around the region.
This center of Param Shakti Peeth currently consists of two schools, Samvid Gurukulam Kanya Vidyalaya and Samvid Gurukulam English medium co-ed school along with a cow barn that houses around 50 cows, the milk produced from which is further used for catering the nutritional needs of our children.
Wherever a PSP centre is set up, it is either for the development of the people in and around that region or for providing an answer to a specific challenge. In Omkareshwar, one of the main challenges was to provide education and in turn a better future to the tribal girls.
Having started with just 100 tribal girls, currently, we are providing free education to over 300 girls till 8th standard along with the hostel facilities. We are also collecting more funds for the development of educational structure till class 10th and Sr. Secondary level along with construction of science labs, computer labs, etc.
Located in the same campus of VatsalyaGram – Omkareshwar is a CBSE affiliated Samvid Gurukulam co-ed English medium school that was started back in 2016 with 95 children and currently has close to 300 students. With classes till 5th standard as of now, there are plans for developing the school for higher studies. Open for the students even outside the campus, a nominal fee is charged in this school to meet the basic requirements.
Any surplus amount is further used for the development of both the Samvid Gurukulam Kanya Vidyalaya and Samvid Gurukulam English medium school. We have adopted this self-sufficient model so that the development of the schools is not hindered due to the lack of donations.
