We at VatsalyaGram truly believe in the fact that special ones need special care. Children with special needs are to be treated as fellow human beings and should be able to enjoy all the rights as anyone else. Everyone should play a part in helping them reduce their daily struggles.Keeping this thought in mind, Vashishtyam was started in VatsalyaGram in the year 2014. Vashishtyam is a day care center (and a residential facility) serving children with special needs such as Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, Down Syndrome, other psychological disabilities.
Providing support for their self-sufficiency
Equipped with all relevant infrastructure viz. Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy,Speech Therapy, Vocational Training, Resource Rooms, etc., and managed by a passionate & trained team, Vaishishtyam endeavors to help reduce the daily struggle of its beneficiaries through individually planned and systematically monitored interventions, which are designed to help these children achieve a higher level of self-sufficiency.
They are also trained in vocational courses such as art & craft, health therapist, beautician, tailoring and computers so that they become financially independent and are able to lead a life like any normal person while also being able to support their families. Vashishtyam has over 100 kids today and is helping them lead a life like everyone else. These kids are being provided with every need to help them build their own future and be successful in life.
